Our family has a variety of interests, some of them individual and some of them shared. Together, we :
Travel often, at least twice a year Hike, especially with our dog Go camping Go canoeing Go fishing, either freshwater or salt water, and often flyfishing Go swimming, often at a resort in the lakes region, where we have a membership Go biking, though some of us do mountain biking, and at least one of us prefers flat ground Watch TV and movies Use our ATV in the woods, though it is currently in need of repair Go skiing and snowboarding, though at least one of us prefers cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing on flat ground Go skating - ice and inline blading Eat out, especially at Olive Garden, Longhorn's, or Chinese buffets

Individually, we have our own interests, some of them shared, but also many things we like to do alone, for refreshment and quiet time. Bill :
Reading Orienteering, using a compass, topographical maps and sometimes a GPS Word puzzles, like Cryptoquote or Jumble, and Brainteasers Downhill Skiing 4-Wheel driving on back country roads Relaxing in a hammock Camping and campfires Fireworks Mystery movies and TV shows Classic films Napping for about an hour on a weekend day

Reading Painting - both walls and art - and sketching Word puzzles, especially Cryptoquote Crafts, like rubber stamping and crocheting Playing some video games, especially Rock Band and Animal Crossing Music, especially live shows Camping and campfires Seeing fireworks displays Comedy - either standup or funny TV shows Cooking Playing games, like Othello, Backgammon, Mancalla Beachcombing and sunning Relaxing on a porch or in my garden patio Wildlife viewing Scenic vistas Learning languages - French, Russian. Maybe Spanish next, or Korean
