Personal Notes
  • All of our backyard chickens have their own personalities.
  • Chickens have their own language: Their different calls are used in different situations.
  • We can tell the difference between each of our chickens by their feathers, combs, coloring and personalities.
  • The chickens make pretty good pets. We consider ours mostly pets that lay eggs.
  • They lay eggs that taste better than the store-bought ones (not to mention that they are a couple weeks fresher).
  • Chickens have their own routines, which makes them easier to care for.
